Another Full Day

The day started with a trip to Boston University. After an informational session the students took a tour of campus.














We had lunch at Harvard Square followed by a brief tour of Harvard by our tour guide.















The bus took the group to Lexington Green to view the spot of the start of the Revolution.














We drove along the route the British took to Concord and got off the bus to see the some of Minute Man National Park.

After Concord we traveled to Walden Pond to see Thoreau's home site.

We finished the day by going to Burlington Mall and the movie theater before returning to the hotel.

A Busy Day

We had to get up early to meet Steve our tour guide in Boston at 7:15. The day started out with a tour of Fenway Park.




















After Fenway we took the bus to the Freedom Trail where we stopped in front of Paul Revere's House for a group photo.















After lunch we drove out to Chestnut Hill for a tour of Boston College.
















The group grew tired as we returned to Boston to tour the U.S. Constitution. We were behind schedule so we missed the organized tour but did a quick walk through of the historic ship.














We then headed over to The Spirit of Boston for a two hour dinner cruise. We had a clear night for some great views of Boston.

In Boston

Everyone was at the airport on time and after a delay of about 45 minutes the fight left for Boston. The flight was uneventful other than a few unfriendly flight attendants and the captain leaving the seat belt sign on for long periods of time, causing a rush for the restrooms when it finally went off.

After landing in Boston the baggage arrived quickly and everyone retrieved their bags. We boarded our charter bus for dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe and then spent an hour at Quincy Market for some quick shopping.

The bus has brought the group to the hotel where everyone has settled in for the night. We get started early at 7:15 tomorrow morning.

Hotel Information

We will be staying at the Hampton Inn in Woburn, Ma. The hotel is 12 miles from downtown Boston.

Flight Information

We will leave on Monday morning from SFO on United Flight # 172. Everyone should meet by the check-in counter for United at 6:45 am. Do NOT check in and go to the gate. There will be some time to get some food after we check in.
